Overview
As of late August 2022, Pakistan has been hit with monsoon rains leading to flooding and landslides that have killed over 1,000 people and impacted millions. Thousands of livestock have been killed as well, a critical source of sustenance and income generation for many families. Over 200,000 homes have been destroyed or damaged. All four of Pakistan’s provinces are now affected, including 116 out of 160 districts.
As updates about the impact of this flood are known and opportunities to support long-term recovery become available, this page will be updated with more resources and information.
